She's a licensed property & casualty broker who specializes in home health care agencies, hospice providers, medical staffing firms and other healthcare businesses, and she founded Snow Canyon Insurance in 2026.
Why Misty founded Snow Canyon Insurance
After 25 years inside the insurance industry, Misty kept seeing the same pattern: carriers raise rates, quietly trim coverage, and count on client inertia to keep the premium coming. Most agents let it happen, because renewals are easier than doing the work.
She founded Snow Canyon Insurance to operate differently. Every client relationship starts with a market analysis, not an assumption. At renewal, Misty compares carriers, pushes back on unjustified increases and presents real options, so her clients make informed decisions instead of absorbing changes nobody explained.
Her focus is the businesses that can least afford to be underinsured: home health care agencies, hospices, medical staffing firms and healthcare organizations where a single coverage gap can be devastating.
